We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Export SalesManager to drive our international sales strategy. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for expanding our market presence outside ofIndia by identifying opportunities, establishing distributors, developingstrategic partnerships, and managing client relationships across keyinternational territories.
• Develop and implement export sales strategies in alignment with company objectives.
• Identify, engage, and manage international distributors, agents, and key accounts in target countries.
• Define and map out territories in new and existing international markets.
• Build strong relationships with clients through in-person meetings, virtual communication, and regular follow-ups.
• Travel overseas regularly to call directly on clients, attend trade shows, and develop new business opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive activities, and customer needs in various regions.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with international partners and distributors.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments including logistics, production, marketing, and finance to ensure smooth execution of export orders.
• Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations for management review.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in export sales or international business development, including overseas travel
• Proven track record of building and managing international distributor networks.
• Strong understanding of global trade practices, Incoterms, and export documentation.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 30–50% of the time.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and culturally adaptable.
• Experience working in the Pharmaceutical and Food sectors is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of target key international markets such as the Middle East, North Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America.
• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
